Over many years now we have had people who are deaf come to the church who require an interpreter. Such individuals are very important to us and we are therefore grateful for our team of interpreters headed up by Rhona Stanbury.

Rhona is a Development Worker with deaf, deafblind and hard of hearing people. She is a CACDP Level 3 Deafblind Communicator Guide.

We aim to provide British Sign Language support at all of our services.

SMALL GROUP
In addition to providing BSL support on a Sunday we now also run a Small Group for the deaf, which currently meets once a fortnight.

We have also added a loop system within the church building for people who are hard of hearing.
